BLACK WOMEN ARE THE GROUP LEAST LIKELY TO INITIATE TREATMENT FOR POSTNATAL MENTAL ILLNESS\, AND THE LEAST LIKELY TO FOLLOW-UP TREATMENT. \nPHOEBE IS OFFERING A WEBINAR ON MATERNAL HEALTH FOR BLACK AND MIGRANT MOTHERS.  \n			\n				Register for this webinar\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Keynote Speaker: Hora Soltani(MBE)\, Professor of Maternal and Infant Health Centre for Health & Social Care Research\, Sheffield Hallam University  \nProfessor Hora would be sharing with us her research and findings on her study on “What women from ethnic minority background want from perinatal mental health services”  \nProfessor Hora Soltani received the award in recognition of her services to maternal and infant health. Her research has supported the development of vital care pathways for pregnant women from the most disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds and her efforts on integrating and analysing the different models of maternity care through systematic reviews has guided maternity policy development at national and international levels. In collaboration with a team of academics and clinicians from across the continent she worked with women who have little voice in society\, as part of her drive to reduce health inequality for vulnerable mothers and their babies.  \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Speaker: Dr Omololu Ogunniyi – GP Burlington Surgery  \nDr Ogunniyi completed a Bachelors in Biology and Philosophy at University of St Thomas\, Houston in 2000. She went on to study medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College\, New York\, qualifying in 2005.She subsequently completed all her post-qualification training in Suffolk\, before taking up her role here in September 2015. Her main interests are in holistic patient care\, particularly with regards to prevention\, self-care and social prescribing.  \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Speaker: Mrs.Maggie Mwanaka  \nExperienced and Retired Midwife qualified in Zimbabwe and has been practicing in The United Kingdom for over 20 years.
